Reminiscences of a Lomo Trip: Turquoise deck chairs and red wine, baguettes and bananas, shrimps and cheese, discussions and telephone numbers, hugs and kisses, cameras, cameras, cameras. The farewell pick nick at St. James Park with the congress participants and the London friends was beautiful and sad.

From Camden Market with Love
There were undoubtedly some sore heads and sorry looking faces when everyone gathered for the Camden Market City Challenge. They had already successfully completed the first part of the challenge by managing to get out of bed in time after the Farewell Party high jinks the night before. Camden Market has to be one of the only places where it is possible to stand being swamped in a crowd with a raging hangover. The first stop was for many the food kiosks that bubbled and steamed with tasty hangover cure nosh. Camden Market is actually a handful of markets scattered around the town. Most people stuck to Camden Lock Market and Stables Market. Due to planned commercial development of Stables Market, this was one of the last opportunities to experience the area that houses the quaint antique and retro clothing stalls. The challenge was to capture a London gem before the strong arm of commercial forces wrestles it down.
Lomo Farewell Picknick & Lomo Talks
St James' Park was the location of a spot of alfresco dining. It was, surprisingly, a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. Joggers jogged, birds sang and children and members of the Lomo web team played football together. It was a scene of total Lomo bliss. However, there were nervous stirrings when people realised a corkscrew had gone missing. All that wine and no way to get to it! Outrageous! A quick-thinking soul avoided a riot by hopping over to the park's restaurant where a friendly waiter was happy to lend the thirsty picnic-goers a bottle opener. Peace was restored and the Congressors were able to leave the country believing that not all Londoners are grumpy old gits. Jolly Good!
